*37 WEEKS*

The time has come to update pictures. I have been so busy lately that we haven't even taken any since we've been back from Hawaii. Since Hawaii we have finished Cooper's room (for the most part), put together our room, and I have grown out of many many clothes! We have 2 weeks from tomorrow morning until Cooper will be here and I am getting a little nervous/stressed. I am SO excited to be a mother and have our family grow but I am super nervous of having to be a mother, wife, student, and nurse all at the same time. I am trying really hard to get a lot of my school work finished before he arrives but I can't seem to get caught up with everything. Oh well! I do what I can.

There are still a few things that I would like to get done in his room...like a shelf over the crib and organize a few things but it is done for the most part! Now we just need a crying, peeing and pooping baby to use it all :)

Ready for Cooper!

3 weeks from today is the day that Cooper is planned to make his grand appearance! It has been an amazing pregnancy with some of the usual ups and downs. However, I think I have finally hit rock bottom. I am super, super busy right now with school and clinical. 4 hours of sleep at night is not enough to get me through the day. I am constantly on my feet and running around the halls of the hospital. This week I have put in 26 1/2 hours at the hospital alone and I still have 24 hours this weekend. In between those days/hours I have put in class time and homework time. My nursing instructor this semester has us doing pointless, busy work that just takes up time.

On the upside of things...we get to hold our little boy in just a few weeks! I look forward to that moment where nothing else in the world matters except for our little family.

I now go to the doctor's twice a week. I have a non stress test done on Monday's and I meet with my physician later on in the week. So far, the non stress tests have been perfect. So it seems as though everything is going to be great!

Less than 5 weeks!

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday...I am measuring at 33 weeks (so a week behind) and Cooper's heart rate is strong and steady! I just got confirmation this morning that our C-section has been scheduled for February 12th at 7:30 am. I was hoping for around noon but there is a higher chance that the surgery would be bumped to a different time if there are several emergency surgeries that come in. So to be safe my doctor scheduled it for the morning. We enjoyed our vacation to Hawaii and have been EXTREMELY busy since then so I am not sure when pictures will be posted. Cooper's room is still in the works...school has taken priority over all the fun stuff that I want to do :( I am feeling the aches and pains of being 34 weeks pregnant and I am not looking forward to them for the next 4 weeks. My ankles have started to swell as well as my face! Yuck! Oh well, our little man is worth it all...I just hope my body can make it through 6 12 hour shifts at the hospital before he comes! YIKES!
